Legacy can assist families with the provision of school books and equipment. Legacy can also assist in the payment of school fees and extra-curricular activities. Funds for Vocational and Tertiary studies can also be made available.

Legacy led a study tour for the centenary of Pozieres Commemorations on the Western Front, France in 2016. An opportunity for Legacy youth (aged 16-25) to discover the rich history of the ANZAC tradition and for many, the stories of their ancestors who fought and died.

In 2017, Legacy is partnering with the Australian Defence Force to provide Legacy youth a unique mentoring and leadership development activity. Operation Legacy Australia Kokoda Challenge 2017 will involve a group of 24 Legacy youth, accompanied by 15 serving ADF veterans, walking the Kokoda Trail to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Kokoda Campaign.

Legacy provides scholarships to eligible Legacy beneficiaries for educational and development purposes. The Legacy Westpac Fund is a partnership with Westpac to provide assistance to families and partners who become the sole income earner of the family. Grants may provide partners with funds to build upon their qualifications to accommodate the needs of their family, and in some cases, whilst supporting an incapacitated veteran.

Legacy can also provide advice on other sources of funding such as the Australian Veterans' Children Assistance Trust, DVA Education Schemes and Special Air Service Resources Trust.
